Turkey Levies Anti-Dumping Duties on Chinese Solar Junction Boxes

PVTIME – The Turkish Ministry of Trade has confirmed the imposition of anti-dumping duties on solar panel junction boxes originating from China, following the conclusion of its investigation.

The measures, which took effect on 23 September 2026, will remain in force for a period of five years. The duties are calculated on a CIF basis and range from 38.23% to 57.11%, depending on the exporter.

Five named Chinese producers have been assigned a rate of 38.23%. These are Zhejiang Twinsel Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., Risen (Ningbo) New Material Co., Ltd., QC Solar (Suzhou) Corporation, QC Solar (JiangSu) Corporation, and Zhejiang Chint Xinhui PV Co., Ltd. All other Chinese producers and exporters not individually named will be subject to the higher rate of 57.11%.

The investigation was initiated on 25 May 2025, with the dumping inquiry covering the full calendar year of 2024 and the injury assessment spanning from 1 January 2022 to 30 December 2024. The products concerned fall under Turkish tariff codes 8544.42.90.00.11, 8544.60.10.00.11, and 8544.60.90.00.00.
