PVTIME – DJI, a world leader in drone manufacturing, exhibited its new modular balcony solar kit at IFA 2026 in Berlin on 7 September 2026. On display at the company’s Halle 20-129 stand, this plug-and-play hardware is designed for deployment on urban residential balconies.
As part of the wider DJI Power home energy ecosystem, this new solar product integrates with existing DJI consumer energy storage units, providing comprehensive solar-plus-storage capabilities for households. This marks DJI’s official entry into the residential distributed photovoltaic market. The complete kit will first be launched in Germany, with further international rollout timelines yet to be announced. On-site demonstration materials indicated potential annual household electricity savings of approximately €680 for end users.
