PVTIME – Sungrow has strengthened its position in Europe’s commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage sector by enhancing its strategic collaboration with Spanish energy storage firm BeePlanet Factory through a long-term capacity expansion agreement. This partnership provides C&I customers with a comprehensive energy storage solution, combining Sungrow’s PowerStack and PowerTitan 5MWh storage systems with BeePlanet’s proprietary BHive® energy management system. This integration allows for the customisation of profit models for individual battery units based on client requirements.
BeePlanet has proven expertise in battery energy storage system (BESS) integration, energy dispatch optimisation, and full-lifecycle operation and maintenance. The company has deployed over 175 energy storage projects across Europe, with a total installed capacity of 80 MWh. Based on the success of existing joint projects, this deepened collaboration will reinforce the presence of both parties in the growing European C&I storage market.
The collaboration combines Sungrow’s technical capabilities and global reach with BeePlanet’s local system integration strengths, while providing the latter with access to Sungrow’s leading storage hardware. This collaboration is in line with the accelerating growth of Europe’s C&I energy storage market.
