PVTIME – On 3 November, Microquanta officially launched the world’s largest perovskite photovoltaic commercial module. Certified by TÜV SÜD, the company’s 2.88m² module delivers an industry-leading power output of 509.21W and efficiency of 18.6%, marking a significant step for perovskite PV technology in transitioning from laboratory and pilot-scale to large-scale commercial use.
Measuring 2400mm×1200mm, the newly released full-sized perovskite module has an area of 2.88m², making it the largest perovskite module in the world. Test results reveal that, despite being several times larger than the earlier 0.79m² version, the stability of the 2.88m² module is roughly equivalent. This proves that large-sized modules are now reliable enough for mass shipment.
