SNEC 2025: 30 Firms Seal Over 10GW in Blockbuster Deals

PVTIME – From 11 to 13 June 2025, SNEC 2025 illuminated Shanghai’s National Exhibition Centre, where PV powerhouses unveiled state-of-the-art technologies. The event sparked a flurry of supply agreements and strategic partnerships, injecting vital momentum into the industry.

Over 30 companies, including JinkoSolar, JA Solar, LONGi, Trina, Chint and Tongwei, signed deals totalling over 10GW, spanning the entire PV value chain, from cells and modules to equipment and materials. Technologies such as TOPCon, HJT, BC and perovskite took centre stage, with partners ranging from Chinese entities to global corporations, clear evidence of the global expansion drive of Chinese PV firms. Many also collaborated with research bodies and certifiers to improve standards, reliability, and performance.

JinkoSolar: 1.75GW for Saudi Arabia, Pakistan Push with Tripartite Alliance

JinkoSolar signed a strategic agreement with PowerChina to supply 1.75GW of N-type TOPCon modules for Saudi Arabia’s SPPC Phase 5 project. Meanwhile, JinkoSolar partnered with DIWAN International, Mesol Solar and Salim Winding to deploy Tiger Neo 3.0 modules across Pakistan and neighbouring markets.

JA Solar: 2GW Cells + 230MW Modules in Global Expansion

JA Solar has accelerated its global expansion, signing a 2GW cell supply deal with Knack Energy to boost India’s local manufacturing. A 230MW module agreement with REMESA is set to support Honduras’s clean energy goals, alongside partnerships with Yongfu Share, Guizhou Engineering and LIBRA ENERGY.

AIKO Solar: ABC Modules Shine in Dual-Market Triumph

AIKO’s ABC modules stole the show at SNEC, opening with over 600MW of Chinese and international deals. The following day, the company secured a 1.6GW distributed portfolio, comprising 1.068GW overseas and 580MW in China.

GCL SI: 100MW Myanmar Projects Fuel Energy Transition

GCL System Integration has strengthened its global-local synergies by signing 100MW PV deals with Myanmar’s MTSH and Dagon. Domestically, GCL SI partnered with Jinkon Technology and Bozhou Traffic Management to develop integrated energy projects.

Hanersun: 400MW Brazil Renewal, 60MW Uzbekistan Debut

Hanersun renewed a 400MW module supply agreement with Brazil’s Solfácil and signed a 60MW agreement with Uzbekistan’s Solar Nature, marking its expansion into South America and Central Asia.

Huasun: GW-Scale Vertical Agri-PV in Italy

Huasun Energy has joined forces with the Sentnet Group in Italy to roll out GW-scale vertical PV solutions. By integrating Kunlun G12R-132 modules with Sentnet’s technology, the partnership enables dual-value land use for agri-PV projects.

Seraphim: 1.8GW Haul Covers Overseas, C&I, and Desertification

Seraphim secured orders totalling 1.8GW:

– 300MW for SUNCORE SOLAR (585W+ N-type modules for high-temperature sites in Pakistan)
– 500MW with Suzhou Zhongguan Medison (620W 210R/ 715W 210N modules for utilities and C&I);
– A 1GW desertification control deal was made with Inner Mongolia Xingkai, which will use 710W Cyber N-type 210 modules.

SNEC 2025’s deals painted a vibrant picture of the PV industry, showcasing everything from technological innovation and global expansion to domestic collaboration and cross-border exchange. The event emphasised its role as a crucible for partnerships that will influence the future of the sector.
