720.65W! Shenzhen S.C Achieves High Power Output in Mass-produced HJT Modules

PVTIME – Shenzhen S.C New Energy Technology Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Shenzhen S. C or the Company) (300724.SZ), a fast-developing new energy equipment manufacturer with R&D capabilities in equipment and process, recently declared that its G12-132 heterojunction module has achieved a new TÜV standard, with an average power of 720.65W and an average conversion efficiency of 23.2%, both of which have been certified by TÜV, the trustworthy third-party testing and certification organisation.

This is a significant landmark for the company’s research and development of HJT technology, which comes after enhancing the high-speed RF microcrystalline P deposition technology and shipping a heterojunction cell whole line of 600MW.

The modules of this certified unit are manufactured exclusively by Shenzhen S.C using mass production methods. They boast an impressive average conversion efficiency of 25.1% in accordance with the ISFH testing standard. The technology involved in their creation utilises cutting-edge, double-sided microcrystalline features alongside 973/9010 ITO technology developed by VTTO. The metallisation process incorporates standard screen-printing with 12BB pure silver and only 110mg of silver consumption per unit.

The aim of developing HJT technology is to allow for large scale production of solar cells and modules with greater performance and conversion efficiency. Shenzhen S.C’s development plan anticipates an average power output of 725W for the G12-132 module, potentially reaching as high as 730W, by the end of 2023.

The company is currently implementing various technologies in photovoltaic cells, such as TOPCon, HJT, XBC, perovskite, and tandem systems. This is being done to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
