PVTIME – On 9 February 2023, Zhejiang Fortune Energy Co.,ltd. (M-CELL), a Chinese national high-tech enterprise engaged in the production and sales of high-efficiency polycrystalline solar cells and high-efficiency solar modules, held a signing ceremony in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, for a new-generation high-efficiency n-type solar cell production project with a total investment of RMB7 billion.
The main products of this project will be high-efficiency n-type solar cells, such as TOPCon and HJT cells, which are highly sought after by enterprises and have multiple advantages such as high conversion efficiency, low attenuation and high bifacial ratio. Based on the continuous pursuit of higher conversion efficiency, n-type solar cells are seen to gradually replace p-type cells, Fortune Energy said. And the company is convinced that n-type monocrystalline TOPCon and heterojunction cells have a larger market space and higher investment value.
