65.69 Billion Yuan! Shuangliang to Add 216,800MT of Silicon Material From TBEA and East Hope Group

PVTIME – Shuangliang Eco-Energy Systems Co., Ltd. (600481.SH) disclosed on September 29 that two sales and purchase contracts were respectively signed by Xinte Energy and East Hope with Shuangliang’s subsidiaries for 216,800MT of silicon materials, with a total estimated contract value of 65.69 billion yuan according to the latest price released by PV Infolink.  

One contract was signed between Shuangliang (Baotou) and Xinte Energy, a subsidiary of TBEA. Xinte Energy will provide Shuangliang (Baotou) 150,000 MT of polycrystalline silicon materials from 2023 to 2030. And the contract value is estimated to be 45.45 billion yuan, according to the latest price of polycrystalline silicon material announced by PV Infolink on September 28, 2022.

The another was signed by Shanghai East Hope Group and the Shuangliang (Jiangsu). Shuangliang (Jiangsu) will purchase 66,800 MT of polysilicon from 2022 to 2026, with an estimated total contract value of 20.240 billion yuan, according to the price data of PV Infolink.

Shuangliang started its large-sized silicon wafer business in 2021, and expected to reach an annual production capacity of more than 40GW at the end of 2022 as all the related production projects are going well. These two silicon orders are expected to secure the supply chain for the company in advance, and to ensure the company to achieve its production and sales plans as scheduled.
