PVTIME – On 12 September 2023, The world’s leading solar module manufacturer, Seraphim Energy Group Co., Ltd. (Seraphim) has signed an investment agreement with the People’s Government of Huadu District, Guangzhou City, China, for the manufacture of solar modules.
The two sides will jointly invest and build the project through a venture company. They intend to launch a 10GW solar module production project with a total investment of 6 billion yuan. The project will be carried out in two phases, with each phase building a 5GW fully compatible large-scale PV module production line, and the investment and construction will be completed within three years. Once in operation, the annual output value is expected to be not less than 10 billion yuan, and 2,600 jobs will be created for local people.
