PVTIME – Jiangsu Taoistic Solar Technology Co. (Taostic Solar), a technology company specialising in the research and development, production and sales of photovoltaic solar modules, has recently started the construction of a solar cell and module production project in Qitai County, China.
This new project will be completed in two phases and aims to produce 3GW of high-efficiency solar modules and 5GW of high-efficiency monocrystalline TOPCon solar cells per year, with a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan (approximately US$484 million).
According to Taoistic Solar, the first phase will mainly focus on research and development, production and sales of multi-specification monocrystalline and polycrystalline photovoltaic modules, with an annual output value of more than 2 billion yuan after full production.
