PVTIME – On 8 May 2023, Zhejiang Dongli Group Co., Ltd. announced that it has signed a contract with the Urad Front Banner People’s Government, Bayannur City, Inner Mongolia, China to invest in a high purity polysilicon project.
The project will be located in Urad Front Banner, Bayannur City, and will have an annual production capacity of 200,000 tonnes of high purity polysilicon.
The local government will support the construction of the project with first-class services and a first-class business environment. Meanwhile, the project is in line with the resource endowment and industrial planning of the region, and plays an important role in promoting the energy transition and upgrading the industrial economy of Urad Front Banner.
