PVTIME – On December 10, 12 mainstream module and inverter manufacturers held a strategic signing ceremony to announce the joint promotion of 600W+ ultra-high power module for distributed applications.
The 12 companies includes Risen Energy, Goodwe, Growatt, Huawei, Ginlong, Sineng Electric, Trina Solar, Trina Smart Distributed, Sungrow, Chint Solar, Chint Power, and Canadian Solar.
This strategic contract signed by these 12 companies means that 600W+ ultra-high-power modules are the main element in distributed PV project. The upstream and downstream parties in the industry have also guaranteed for the application of ultra-high-power modules. Distributed are officially moving forward and enter the era of 600W+ ultra-high power. Therefor, all the partners will work together to promote “duel carbon” goal.
In early December, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China released the latest plan for the “14th Five-Year Plan”, which clearly encourages rooftop photovoltaic construction and the development of large-scale and high-efficiency photovoltaic modules. In the context of the “dual carbon” goal and the green and low-carbon transition, increasing the proportion of renewable energy and clean energy usage has become an inevitable trend in energy development.
