PVTIME – Qingdian Group, a group of companies mainly engaged in clean energy, silicon-based materials, environmental protection and modern agriculture, recently announced that it will establish its headquarters and PV solar production chain project in Hefei City, Anhui Province, China.
In addition, a solar wafer project with a production capacity of 16GW per year and related auxiliary facilities will be built. A total of 10 billion yuan will be invested in the whole project.
The first phase of the project is expected to start in May 2023, with production starting in August. The project will also create more than 1,000 jobs.
