On October 16th, 2012, Sunpower Renewables Inc. (Newark, Delmarva, U.S.) and Talesun Solar USA Ltd. (San Jose, California, U.S.) announced that they have co-developed a 1.5 megawatt (MW) AC solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Hollister, California.
The PV plant has been officially transferred to Sun Benito Power LLC, a special purpose entity established by the permanent project financier.
The solar energy system was designed and developed mainly by Sunpower Renewables, a team of solar professionals with support by Talesun to bring it to the transaction.
Talesun and Sunpower Renewables have agreed to work together in the development of new PV solar parks. The current development pipeline is for 25 MW of power with future projects in planning.
