Lightway Modules Certified for Japan Market

“LIGHTWAY” recently announced that its series of polycrystalline PV modules has been officially awarded JET certification by Japan Electrical Safety & Environment Technology Laboratories (JET).

Following the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster, the Japanese government has introduced the FIT policy initiative to promote the PV industry. Lightway’s JET certification, along with other certifications it has applied and received worldwide, further demonstrates the company’s commitment to high quality, reliability and sustainability.

Lightway’s modules have been sold and installed worldwide. LONGJITAIHE, Lightway’s parent company, supports Lightway to expand its business development effort, both in distributed generation and projects worldwide. As part of the company’s global expansion plan, Lightway Japan was set up in 2012 as its liaison office.

“JET certification is a critical step for our Japan business development strategy,” Andrew Li, Chief Marketing Officer of Lightway, noted. “As the Japan market continues to develop, we look forward to expanding our presence, together with the local partners.”
