PVTIME – Fujian Yongfu Power Engineering Co., Ltd. (Yongfu Poer, SZ300712), is delighted to announce a major contract for the construction of the 45MWp Scutona Photovoltaic Power Plant on Bohol Island in the Philippines, signed in Manila.

Covering an area of around 613.155 mu, this project is set to play a pivotal role in the local energy transformation. Upon completion, the plant is expected to generate around 58,000MWh of electricity per year while reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 48,000 tonnes. These remarkable figures will propel the local energy structure towards a more sustainable future and infuse new vigour into the development of clean energy across Southeast Asia.
This latest triumph follows hot on the heels of another major achievement. On 22 December last year, Yongfu Power announced a significant project in Indonesia. PT Sumber Energi Surya Morowali and Yongfu Power signed a contract to undertake a 200MWac mountainous photovoltaic project accompanied by an 80MW/80MWh energy storage system located in the Morowali Industrial Park in Sulawesi. Valued at $140 million (approximately 1.006 billion yuan), this project in the Morowali Regency of Central Sulawesi comprises a 200MWac solar power plant and an 80MW/80MWh battery storage system, as well as booster substations and overhead transmission lines. Currently, it is the largest solar-storage integrated project in Indonesia, which is testament to Yongfu’s capabilities in delivering complex, large-scale renewable energy solutions.
