US to Slap 10%+ Tariffs on 100+ Nations

PVTIME – On 15 July, Donald Trump, the US President, revealed plans to impose tariffs of over 10% on smaller nations, including those in Africa and the Caribbean.

Speaking to the media at Andrews Air Force Base that day, Trump stated that the US would probably impose a uniform tariff on all these countries. He added that the levy could be slightly above 10% on goods from at least 100 countries.

Also on 15 July, Trump announced on Truth Social that a 19% tariff would be imposed on all Indonesian imports, while US exports to Indonesia would be granted tariff-free access with no non-tariff barriers.

More recently, Trump wrote to the leaders of over 20 trading partners to warn them that tariffs ranging from 20% to 50% would come into force on 1 August.
