PVTIME – In October, Hanersun has secured a new 17 MW PV module supply order in Croatia, with delivery scheduled to begin in November. Following an 11 MW project in eastern Croatia earlier this year, this new contract marks another significant milestone for the company. With its proven advantage of high-efficiency modules and reliable delivery, Hanersun has firmly positioned itself as a top module supplier in the Croatian market, and stands out as a leading PV brand in the Western Balkans.
Since entering Croatia, Hanersun has built a strong reputation for product performance and dependable delivery. Its high-efficiency N-type modules are widely used in local ground-mounted solar plants and have demonstrated excellent long-term stability.
The new 17 MW project is developed by a well-established local investor and will use Hanersun’s HITOUCH 5N modules, featuring 23.2% efficiency. With superior low-irradiation performance and an excellent temperature coefficient, these modules help lower LCOE and boost project returns under a market-based electricity sales model.
Hanersun’s continued success in Croatia reflects its long-term commitment to the Balkan region. In 2025, the company has seen explosive growth across the region — securing new orders in Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and other countries, with multiple projects successfully connected to the grid.

Serbia 12.4MW

Greece 56MW
“Securing two projects within a short period is not only a market achievement, but also a sign of growing trust from our Croatian partners,” said Mr. Sun Jingyu, Vice President of Hanersun. “Each successful project serves as a testament to our brand and opens doors to new collaborative opportunities.”
As a key energy hub under the Belt and Road Initiative, the Western Balkans boast abundant solar resources and a supportive policy environment. According to Renewable Market Watch, the region is expected to add more than 17 GW of new PV capacity in the next five years, entering a period of rapid growth.
Looking ahead, Hanersun will continue to strengthen its local partnerships and deliver high-efficiency, reliable clean energy solutions—contributing to a greener, low-carbon future for the Balkans.
