PVTIME – In May, Hanersun successfully passed ISO 14064 greenhouse gas emissions verification by TÜV SÜD. The assessment result showed relatively low carbon intensity per unit of output, which highlights Hanersun’s solid progress in green manufacturing and reflects its strategic foresight and steady execution in advancing the ESG goals.

As the world accelerates toward the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Hanersun continues to enhance its carbon management system. The greenhouse gas emissions verification of Hanersun’s headquarter and production facilities was based on ISO 14064-1:2018 and ISO 14064-3:2019 standards, which cover both direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions. The audit confirmed that Hanersun’s system meets all requirements, underscoring its efforts to cut emissions and support sustainable growth.

“As an active contributor to the global low-carbon transition, Hanersun remains committed to clear emission-reduction targets and a robust ESG strategy,” said Johnny Zhang, Director of Solar Module Manufacturing Center of Hanersun. “We’re making progress by using more green electricity, improving energy efficiency, and reducing emissions in our production. These steps help us boost N-type module performance while lowering emissions across our supply chain.”
With a goal of net-zero emissions, Hanersun integrates ESG into its long-term planning. Going forward, Hanersun will keep strengthening its carbon management systems and emission reduction efforts, contributing to a more sustainable and low-carbon future.
