PVTIME – On 22 July 2025, the European Commission announced the initiation of a second anti-dumping and anti-subsidy sunset review investigation into solar glass originating from China. The move comes in response to applications filed by Interfloat Group, i.e., Interfloat Corporation and GMB Glasmanufaktur Brandenburg GmbH on 18 and 19 April 2025. The review will assess whether the dumping and subsidisation of the related products would continue or reoccur to harm the EU domestic industry if the existing anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures are lifted.

On 1 August 2025, the United States Department of Commerce issued a announcement initiating a second anti-dumping and anti-subsidy sunset review investigation into crystalline silicon photovoltaic products imported from China. It also launched a second anti-dumping sunset review investigation into the same products imported from Taiwan, China.
Concurrently, the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) launched a second anti-dumping and anti-subsidy sunset review injury investigation into the aforementioned products. This investigation will examine whether imports of the related products would continue or reoccur to cause material injury to the US domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable period if the current anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures are removed. Interested parties must register their responses with the US Department of Commerce within 10 days of the announcement’s issuance.
Interested parties should submit their responses to the United States International Trade Commission by 2 September 2025 and provide comments on the adequacy of their responses in this case to the United States International Trade Commission no later than 10 October 2025.
