PVTIME – Grand Sunergy Tech has announced that one of its subsidiaries plans to inject 230 million yuan into its Tieling-based subsidiary to fund a 10GWh solid-state battery industrial chain project featuring AI-powered smart manufacturing capabilities.

In order to capitalise on growth opportunities in the solid-state battery sector, Grand Sunergy Tech established the Tieling subsidiary on 19 August 2025, designating it as the entity responsible for delivering the 10GWh project. Following the investment, Grand Sunergy Tech will hold a 51.11% stake in the Tieling subsidiary.
The project has completed the necessary filing formalities and Tieling Global has secured intellectual property licences for battery recycling and solid-state battery production. The solid-state batteries produced will include a core AI-powered BMS module and will be used in areas such as embodied intelligence, the low-altitude economy, smart energy storage, and intelligent driving power.
Currently, the project has signed three domestic and one international sales intent agreement.
