The two parties will jointly develop 500MW of agrivoltaic projects across France. Over the next decade, the two parties will establish a joint venture to advance the construction and operation of these projects, all of which will be located within Océalia’s operational areas. Once fully operational, the projects will generate enough electricity to power around 120,000 households each year.

This collaboration is intended to deliver a win-win outcome for both energy production and agricultural activities. According to the partners, the initiative will preserve the use of agricultural land while providing farmers with a more stable additional source of income. This model has significant economic and ecological value, particularly in regions facing the challenges of climate change and pressure on water resources.
