PVTIME – At Intersolar Europe 2025, Seraphim and the Iraqi firm Barzaei Halwan formalised a framework agreement for the supply of 250 MW of photovoltaic (PV) products. This landmark partnership will deliver at least 50 MW of PV products in 2025, providing a significant boost to Iraq’s renewable energy ambitions.

Barzaei Halwan, a major player in Iraq’s renewable energy sector, will benefit from access to Seraphim’s market-leading products and extensive distribution network. Under the agreement, Seraphim will supply 250 MW of solar solutions, strengthening the foothold of both companies in the Middle East.
Iraq is actively seeking to diversify its energy mix away from fossil fuels, with the government setting a target of generating 20% of its energy from renewable sources by 2030. Despite slow progress so far, this new deal signals a major step forward.
Insan, Seraphim’s Vice President of Sales, stated that the Middle East is integral to the company’s global strategy. This partnership will enhance Seraphim’s local capabilities and set a new standard for long-term collaboration. It’s not just a project; it’s the coming together of technology, trust, and shared goals.
