PVTIME – On January 4, GCL System Integration announced that in order to accelerate the construction of its 60GW module production project in Hefei, it plans to inject 790 million yuan into its wholly-owned subsidiary, Hefei GCL Integrated New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hefei GCL”). The injection will increase GCL Hefei’s registered capital from RMB 10 million to RMB 800 million.
According to the announcement, this capital increase is conducive to accelerating the construction process of Hefei GCL’s 60GW module production base, realizing the completion and implementation of the company’s large-scale module project capacity, improving the company’s photovoltaic product supply structure, enhancing the company’s product competitiveness and market share, and further improving the profitability and anti-risk ability of the company’s photovoltaic business segment.
