The 300MW photovoltaic power station project is one of the important projects of the “Vision 2030” formulated by the Saudi government as an effort to vigorously develop new energy and promote the energy transition strategy. The project is expected to provide 900 local jobs and clean energy for 45,300 families. The contract value is estimated to be about 1.2 billion yuan.

Upon completion, the Rabigh project will generate an average of 2240 kWh per kilowatt per year. Total power generation in the first year will be 894 GWh, translating into a carbon dioxide emission reduction of about 779,900 MT, effectively optimizing the Saudi energy structure and protecting its local ecological environment.

Energy China will take this project as an opportunity to strengthen market development in the fields of new energy, power, and continue to provide customers with high-quality services.
