PVTIME – On July 6, AKCOME Technology (002610.SZ) released an announcement that its subsidiary Huzhou AKCOME has signed with Suzhou Maxwell Technologies Co., Ltd. (300751.SZ) for two sets of production lines for half-sized 210 HJT solar cells.
According to the announcement, Maxwell will provide AKCOME the first set of production line with production capacity of over 600MW by December 20, 2022. And the second set with the same production capacity will be completed by January 20, 2023.
To expand its production capacity of 210 half-sized HJT cell, AKCOME has purchased a set of production line with production capacity of more than 600MW from Maxwell in November 2021, which currently is on the last a few steps for mass production. Huzhou AKCOME base has fulfilled a production capacity of 220MW so far, and expects to achieve a production capacity of 2GW of HJT cells with the new two sets of production lines be settled in January 2023. Furthermroe, it is planned to reach 10GW of HJT cells and 6GW of HJT module by the year of 2025.
