Hefei, China (April 16, 2014) – Sungrow was identified as the most requested Chinese photovoltaic (PV) inverter brand in a recent IHS global survey of PV inverter buyers, including system integrator, distributors and installers.
IHS (NYSE: IHS) is the leading source of information, analytics and expertise in critical areas that shape today's business landscape, including the PV inverter market.
In the IHS survey, more than 300 solar installers, distributors and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) companies were asked about their preferences and opinions on PV inverters, in order to help suppliers better understand the needs and requirements of their customers. The survey also covers multiple geographic regions with responses analysed by country and customer type. It was found that Chinese inverters are gaining increased acceptance in places such as the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom – with Sungrow as the highest-scoring Chinese brand.
