PVTIME – Runjian Co., Ltd. announced it has signed a development agreement with the Yongfu County People’s Government of Guilin City to develop the entire county’s rooftop distributed photovoltaic power generation project.
In response to the national carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals and to optimize the regional energy structure, promote energy conservation, and emission reduction, Yongfu County will promote the development of distributed photovoltaic power generation as an important measure to adjust the energy structure and build beautiful villages. The total project capacity is estimated to be about 409MW and the total development investment is estimated to be 1.806 billion yuan.
In September 2021, the National Energy Administration announced that Yongfu County was selected into the national whole-county rooftop distributed photovoltaic development pilot list.
The announcement stated Yongfu County People’s Government intends to cooperate with Runjian given its outstanding ability in new energy investment, development and services. The two will cooperate in the rural revitalization of Yongfu Country through the construction of distributed photovoltaic power generation projects on the roofs of party and government agencies, schools, hospitals, village committees and other public buildings, industrial and commercial factory buildings.
