Beijing JYT Corp Inks Long Term Wafer Supply Agreements With Tongwei and Runergy Worth Over 8.9 Billion Yuan

PVTIME – On December 7, Beijing Jingyuntong Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “JYT” or “the company”) announced that it has signed long term supply contracts with Tongwei Solar and Runergy. The cumulative sales amount of the two contracts is approximately 8.95 billion yuan.

According to the announcement, on January 7, 2021, Wuxi Jingyuntong Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of JYT, signed a “silicon wafer procurement framework contract” with Tongwei Solar. Tongwei Solar plans to purchase 960 million monocrystalline silicon wafers from Wuxi Jingyuntong Technology Co., Ltd. from January 2021 to December 2023. According to the latest market price (converted according to the average price of monocrystalline silicon wafer published by PV InfoLink), the total sales amount is estimated to be about 5.261 billion yuan (including tax).

On the same day, Wuxi Rongneng Semiconductor Material Limited Company, a holding subsidiary of JYT, signed a “silicon wafer procurement framework contract” with Runergy. Runergy plans to purchase 946 million monocrystalline silicon wafers from Wuxi Rongneng Semiconductor Material Limited Company from January 2021 to December 2023. According to the latest market price (converted according to the average price of monocrystalline silicon wafer published by PV InfoLink), the total sales amount is estimated to be about 3.689 billion yuan (including tax).

BYT stated that the sales amounts of the above two transactions do not constitute performance commitments or performance forecasts. The actual purchase prices are based on monthly bargaining, and the total contract transaction amount is subject to the final transaction value.
