16th International Conference on Concentrator Photovoltaic Systems (CPV-16) Cancelled

PVTIME – Due to the increasing global spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus, the conference organizers and committees have decided to cancel CPV-16, the 16th International Conference on Concentrator Photovoltaic Systems.

The conference was supposed to take place from May 4-6, 2020 in Golden, Colorado, USA, and to be hosted by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).

In a message addressed to the public Maike Wiesenfarth, CPV-16’s Publication Chair, expressed,

“After careful consideration of the ongoing spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) overseas and in the United States, the Organizing Committee decided not to conduct the 16th International Conference on Concentrator Photovoltaic Systems (CPV-16) in Colorado, May 4-6, 2020.

In addition to the personal exchange in the community during the conference, your scientific results were and are meant to be published in the AIP open access conference proceedings database. Even though the event is now cancelled, we want to give you the chance to publish your current work in a special edition of proceedings with AIP.

As CPV-16’s Publication Chair, I herewith invite you to submit your paper! The process will remain the same, including the review process followed by the open access publication. To cover the publication costs, a fee of 100 € will need to be charged. I look forward to reading and learning of your latest results even if we cannot meet personally this year!

Stay healthy!”
